Phase 1 — May 20, 2025

During Phase 1 of the W. Mount Houston & Airline Corridor Study, more than 50 community members participated in the initial Community Meeting held on May 20, 2025, at Buckner Children and Family Services of Houston. Participants were invited to review existing corridor conditions, respond to questions displayed on large engagement boards, complete surveys, build their own roadway cross section, and provide location specific feedback directly on large corridor maps while speaking with the project team. The open house style meeting also included bilingual materials and interactive activities focused on safety, drainage, mobility, lighting, and pedestrian improvements along the corridor.
